At Spring Grove School, Scholarships may be offered to outstanding candidates who show all-round talent, ability and potential. When applying for a Scholarship, candidates are encouraged to submit evidence of any special interests or strengths, for example in music, art, drama or sport. Applications for Scholarships are open to pupils starting in Years 3, 4 and 5 in September 2020, and are available to both internal and external candidates. For more information click here.
Before applying please read the Scholarship and Bursaries policy.
To apply, all prospective candidates must complete and return a Scholarship Application form. Applications must be returned by 2 March 2020.
Scholarship assessments will be held on Tuesday 10 March 2020 and will include tests in English and Maths, workshops, and assessments in sport, music, art or drama as appropriate. Candidates will also have a short, informal interview. Our Scholarships are guaranteed for the total number of years the child is at the School, subject to good progress.
The Scholarship assessment day is designed to test children’s potential and ability, but it is also a chance for the children to experience life at Spring Grove. We aim to make the day as relaxed as possible and we hope that it will be a fun and positive experience for the children.
Wherever possible, candidates are encouraged to come for a taster day before the Scholarship assessment day – please contact the Registrar to arrange this (firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01233 812337).
